Half-Day Warmwater Fly Fishing Lesson

This class is our most popular fishing offering, combining professional casting instruction with a chance to actually catch some fish!  If you've always wanted to learn how to fly cast or maybe you're wondering if fly fishing is the sport for you, this is the perfect course to answer all your questions.  This course is generally held at private ponds and public lakes, open to specific requests.

Classes are generally scheduled at times and locations which will yield the most positive results.

*Blended trout/smallmouth classes do not follow the typical warmwater outline.  Some wading generally required and locations vary considerably.

We will have rods & reels available for all classes.  You are certainly welcome to bring your own equipment if you have it and we'll help set it up for you.  We strongly encourage you NOT to purchase a fly rod before taking the class as you will learn a great deal about actions, rod weights, lengths, and optional accessories from the class. However, if you already own equipment, it is helpful to bring it.

In general, bring the following:

-Outdoor clothing and hiking shoes.

-Sunglasses (preferably polarized).

-Water and Snacks

-Brimmed Hat
