Central Kansas Quail and Pheasant Hunt (5-day Economy or Full*)

Cost per hunter:  $460/week


Semi-guided hunt near Salina, KS on a mix of public and private lands.  Hunts vary between driving milo fields with retrievers and using pointers for wild bobwhite quail and wild rooster ringnecks in prairie grass.  Hunters will be guided each morning on private hunting grounds.  Guide will assist hunters with choosing public land each afternoon.  Call for full details.

Package Includes:

~5 days of hunting wild farm country pheasants and bobwhite quail.

~Guided assistance with trained dogs each morning.

~Consultation on travel and lodging arrangements.

~Limited access to private lands and recommendations for public ground.

 

-If hunters desire to use dogs all day, they should bring their own.  Guide will assist in handling and/or training if desired.

-Hunters are responsible for transportation, lodging, food, and other expenses.

-All hunters must sign a sporting ethics agreement in order to hunt private lands.

-Kansas small game hunting license is $72.50/year.

Travel Information

Hunters should plan on 1.5 - 2 days of driving time from NC/VA to Salina, KS.  The distance from Hickory, NC is approximately 1250 miles.
